  • Blogger Peter Knight has written more articles correcting mainstream media smears of WikiLeaks and Julian Assange. View the full list of his articles here.
Julian Assange News:
  • The second episode of "The World Tomorrow" aired, featuring David Horowitz and Slavoj Žižek. Links to the full episode and transcript are available at the official website.
  • RT analysed how the media organizations which previously praised Julian Assange are now vehemently attacking him after the premiere of his television show.
  • An article in Nyheter looks at how, after three months, the Supreme Court has yet to give a verdict in the Assange case. Swedish Law Professor Joakim Nergelius commented that the Swedish prosecution has made a mistake by refusing to question Assange in London.
  • Two photos of Julian Assange mysteriously showed up at the Whitney Museum in New York a few days ago. Jacob Appelbaum tweeted that he is the one who took the photos.
Bradley Manning News:
  • A 3-day set of motion hearings for Bradley Manning began today. Here are the highlights:
    • The U.S. Government must release its assessments on how much damage WikiLeaks' publications have caused, which will be viewed in a secret hearing by the judge
    • Two motions by the defense were litigated: one to release information from the secret WikiLeaks grand jury, and another to dismiss all charges against Manning with prejudice
    • Bradley Manning requested the two military lawyers assigned to him be removed and replaced with Capt. Joshua Tooman
    • The judge denied the press and public any additional access to court filings (this comes after the CCR renewing its request for further access to documents)
    • The proceedings will continue tomorrow at 10AM
    • For in-depth coverage of today's hearing, see Kevin Gosztola's live-blog
