Today, that's what came to my mind...the tale of somebody that
"appears one day to delight, inspire, and alarm the men and women of the City"

at first, he's hailed as a Messiah and all the women in the City try to seduce him...then he's falsely accused, rejected and put in jail...read it, if you can, you'll enjoy it.
