Julian Assange has been detained without charge for 1315 days. 
 - 755 days inside the Ecuadorian Embassy.

Chelsea Manning has been in prison for 1509 days.  
Jeremy Hammond has been in prison for 861 days. 

A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1608 days.

WikiLeaks News:
  • NYT eXaminer published emails they received through a CIA FOIA request regarding communication with the New York Times re WikiLeaks. The emails show that the US DoJ and CIA coordinated a response to NYTimes story on the WikiLeaks grand jury before story was published.
  • CAGE, a UK organisation which campaigns against the War on Terror, has had its bank account closed and its two main backers are under investigation. People have drawn similarities between this and the banking blockade against WikiLeaks which began in 2010 after political pressure.
  • OR Books about the internet are currently 20% off. This includes Julian Assange's books "When Google Met WikiLeaks" (pre-order) and "Cypherpunks", Clark Stoeckley's illustrated account of Chelsea Manning's trial, and other WikiLeaks titles.

Julian Assange News:
  • The Swedish court system issued a press release about the July 16 hearing regarding the dismissal of the warrant against Julian Assange. The hearing will begin at 1:00pm Stockholm time and the verdict will be announced that day.
  • Sweden's former chief prosecutor Sven-Erik Alhem commented on the upcoming hearing in the Assange case saying that the prosecution made a gaffe from the start.
  • Julian Assange and playwright Angela Richter were interviewed on "Anke hat Zeit".
