Artists shared editorial cartoons mourning Aylan Kurdi and his brother

By WILLIAM BUCKINGH

HEARTBREAKING cartoons inspired by the tragic drowning of three-year-old Syrian refugee Aylan Kurdi have been posted on social media.
Artists from all over the world shared their creations on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr using the Turkish hashtag #KiyiyaVuranInsanlik, which translates to the sobering "humanity washed ashore".
The toddler died alongside his five-year-old brother Galip and 35-year-old mother Rehan after their boat - heading for asylum in Europe - overturned.

These 15 moving drawings capture the world's outrage and sadness at the devastating humanitarian crisis.

there is war in Syria since so many years and now everybody starts crying and screams "HELP THE REFUGEES" .

you are all hypocrites.

instead of tweet hard you could have done much more in the past so this would never happen again. but you keep watching that war and how that criminal veto Russia slowly places it´s next troops on a country where they want to have as much influence as they can.

as long no one takes over the control and get rid of this criminals this will always happen again. this war is the cancer, the problem issue and core of the refugee crisis itself.
you can now shout out loud about European politicians are not doing enough to calm down your own egos - as long you do not take a weapon and fight for those who die where they live you are just like every politician you just told: he isn´t doing enough.

I get a knot in my stomach every time I see the image.

At least now people woke up!
Yes how people reacted on the web shows they care.
I also agree a lot with Joker's point of view and think that since years thousands kids are dying this way, having their fathers may be beaten by the traffickers, their moms may be raped during the wars, their familiars killed...
Now we see a touching image and we wake up but it is just the tip of the icebearg and it disgusts me a bit that such a reaction hasn't been so strong before.
