Introducing The WikiLeaks Forum Gallery
« on: September 12, 2013, 18:37:36 PM »

The WikiLeaks  Forum  is pleased to  introduce  the latest addition to the Forum’s functionalities:  The WikiLeaks Forum Gallery "Where Pictures Speak Louder Than Words".

The Gallery is accessible to all  to upload photographs : various features will allow you to post a single file  or a whole album,  comment,  rate  and send the photographs as e-cards.

Guests can  either log in  using their Forum log in data or register an account using the WikiLeaks Forum registration form.
As an existing member, you can log into the Gallery using  your Forum login data, and  if you  are already logged into the Forum, you are logged into the Gallery automatically.

When you post photographs, we would like to ask you to use your common sense  and to keep in mind who your audience may be.

We hope you have fun  with this new feature, do let us know what you make of it : as always we are very much interested in your views.

Get posting and enjoy the Forum  :)

Great idea, in a time when so many people are drawn more to images than text, in our world of fast technology, having a gallery would certainly benefit the spread of information.

UPDATE: Videos can also be uploaded to our Gallery.

Usage:
1. Create a text file and insert the permalink or url from the browser address bar (e.g. xxxx://www.youtube.com/xxx
2. Rename the text file to <filename>.<provider> (e.g. my_video.youtube)
3. Upload the text file to your Coppermine gallery (use the upload form or the batch-add feature)

Have fun:

Thanks for the input ariom. Well, sometimes images let us concretely see how the reality is, in a way that words can describe but cannot show. I way much like the idea of having a photogallery.
Also, sometimes it's difficult to understand if an event is real or exaggerated or invented... Watching the photos we can have a clear idea of how it was :)

you can log into the gallery using your members username and Password. If you are already logged into the Forum, then you can access and upload pixs to an Album of your choice or create your own Album.
