In Response to some of the malicious tweets being made by just a handful of people ( in fact just 2 ) who consider themselves called " wikileaks supporters ", we would like to underline the fact that the WikiLeaks Forum doesn't require endorsement OR permission from WikiLeaks to operate.

The fact that still links to the Forum is good enough for us but doesn't have any effect on the Forums traffic and it certainly doesn't effect the number of new registrations or Posts.

NOT being endorsed by WikiLeaks gives the Forum is NOT a disadvantage. The Forum isn't monitored or controlled by WikiLeaks, or anyone remotely connected to WikiLeaks. This gives us the freedom to uphold free speech and allow EVERYONE the possibility to voice their own opinions, regardless of their approach to Wikileaks or Julian Assange. This is what members expect from a discussion Forum.

SO, in a nutshell, whether we are "endorsed " or not makes no difference to the Forum.

Needless to say, Wikileaks was involved in the Forums creation and officially announced via the @Wikileaks Twitter account on 24.05.2011. This is a fact that can't be refuted, not even by Wikileaks.

More Info regarding WikiLeaks involvement in the making of the Forum can be found here:
