Will this debate be filmed and uploaded somewhere? The subjects is extremely important and I feel students & pro's within journalism, all sorts of media and programming should get the possibility to see this and continue the debate within their own systems.

What if the members of this WL-forum makes it our task to distribute the url-adress to the video directly to various schools / companies in our own contries. (Make sure to use a microphone among the audience so that all questions are captured. :)) My country is Norway; I could f.ex make a survey over the receivers I have passed the url on to.

Just a thought..

Yes the event will be filmed! Keep your eyes peeled for a link...

It was also just announced today that PJ Crowley who resigned from office as the Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs after criticizing the treatments of Bradley Manning will be there.

So the video will be posted on this website;

Meanwhile the event was "twitted" so you can already read the live blog. Really interesting debate: Mark Stephens was brilliant.

It was really interesting : very high quality panel although I do think we spent too much time on aspects that in my opinion were not extremely relevant like "are dictatorships benefiting from Wikileaks"... I think the videos are gonna be put up tomorrow.
They were probably less than a 100 people, mostly journalists.
