Dear Captain Watson,

On February 15th2014, the WikiLeaks Forum organised the first «Germany Stop Taiji» rally.
The idea came up during Sea Shepherd's campaign to put an end to the Taiji Dolphin Drive Hunt. At the time, the Forum was actively posting articles and tweeting in support of the campaign. As we were in touch with Omar Todd, Technical Director for Sea Shepherd Australia, we asked him for contacts and proper channels to ensure that the «Germany Stop Taiji» event would be well planned and aligned with Sea Shepherd's philosophy.

We received a first message from Scott West (Sea Shepherd Conservation Society) on February 6th advising that "we certainly appreciate all efforts to end the slaughter" and from Kathleen McGibbon Sea Shepherd USA on Feb 7th assuring that "you are welcome to use the images that we have available to the public as long as Sea Shepherd is credited”.

Unfortunately, on the day, the event took place without any support from Sea Shepherd and no Sea Shepherd branding was used. Thankfully, this didn't prevent Sea Shepherd supporters driving for hundreds of miles to be part of the rally.

Somehow, unbeknown to us, between the moment we received the first emails from Sea Shepherd agreeing wholeheartedly to participate and the time we were actually going live with our purposely designed «Germany Stop Taiji» website, Sea Shepherd had decided to refuse to be associated with the event.

As we were trying to come to terms with such an abrupt about turn, on the day of the rally itself, Feb 15th, we received a message, from Maddy, Director Sea Shepherd Germany CFO Sea Shepherd Germany and Quartermaster M/V Steve Irwin, informing us that:

“Sea Shepherd Germany will neither participate nor attend at the protest. The reasons were given to you last week by Ralf and Manuel and don't need to be justified or discussed. We also prohibit you and your team to use Sea Shepherd footage, pictures or material to be used at your protest. We also prohibit you and your team to use the name Sea Shepherd in any way at the protest or in promotion. I hope this is quite clear enough and will not need any further clarifications.”

Putting aside the fact that we found the tone of this last message offensive, patronising and needlessly aggressive, as we were given no explanation for this decision, we could only surmise that someone had set out to sabotage the “Germany for Taiji” rally.

Prior to being given the mysterious reasons which “don't need to be justified or discussed“, Omar Todd decided to take his distances with the forum when he found out that the WikiLeaks Forum is not endorsed by Julian Assange, editor in chief of WikiLeaks and member of the WikiLeaks Party national council. Incidentally, Omar Todd, being a man with many hats, is also one of the founders of the WikiLeaks Party as well as its Deputy Chairman : since the rally, Omar Todd has also asked the forum's staff to “lay off hassling the WikiLeaks Party”.

We are extremely keen to find out who decided to cancel the original agreement and for which reasons, even though we took the decision to go ahead with the event nonetheless.

We have therefore decided to write to you, since to date, we have yet to be told the reasons behind the decision supposedly already provided by “Ralf and Manuel”, with whom we never had any contacts. We are very keen to get to the bottom of this and would appreciate your insight and input :

the very idea that an event set up to save endangered animals from being slaughtered would be sabotaged because of personal feuds or personal political agendas does not bear thinking of, and if someone has abused its power to these same ends, then this person should be exposed.

The event itself was a complete success, various groups got involved and the public was extremely supportive : the raised funds were given to an organisation which supported the rally and a petition with 8.000 + signatures was delivered by hand to the Japanese Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany.

We strongly feel that all the volunteers, performers and supporters who gave their time to make the event come together in spite of all the obstacles thrown in their path as well as the 12 000 people who attended the rally have a right to know why Sea Shepherd decided unilaterally to withdraw its support.

Best regards

A lot of people did come together there, even some people of Sea Shepherd.
I am wondering, what The Captain thinks about the issue, how much Power The WikiLeaks Party has in his Organisation.

Maybe the old spirit, I also was cheering about, isn´t anymore what it was. All about the money and influence, not the mission, the whales, dolphins etc.
Like this what WikiLeaks has become through corrupt Assange.

After Assange was aware that his last ditch attempt tp Sabotage the "Germany Stop Taiji" protest action was failing he asked his friend LEON BECKER to drive from Berlin to Frankfurt and take photos of forum members with the Intention of creating a FORUM D0X.

Leon Becker the fanatical owner of the Wikileaks endorsed "cabledrum.net" and programmer of "Wikileaks SEARCH"

Leon Becker drove 500 miles from his home in Berlin to Frankfurt to search for Wikileaks forum members.

Here are the pictures he took:

Both Images were included in the infamous FORUM D0X which can be found here: https://www.cabledrum.net/news/wlf_whoiswho

Once the D0X was complete, it was published on Twitter and instantly TWEETED by Julian Assange

Here is Assange's tweet

Further attacks on the Wikileaks Forum leave much to be desired:
