Article:

Promoting and defending the government of Ecuador abroad may be a very well paid job. Of course, only if the government pays the agreed fees.

Eva Golinger, the American-Venezuelan lawyer famous for being one of the most unconditional and impassionate supporters of defunct president Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro’s government, could say a lot about this.

Through a leak by Wikileaks Forum of messages between Golinger and Fernando Alvarado, until recently Secretary of Communication, we have been able to better understand the relationship between the lawyer and the Government of Ecuador. Wikileaks Forum is a group that supports Wikileaks and has been publicly observed by such organization.

As the online publication Fundacion Mil Hojas recently revealed, Golinger also is legal adviser to the Ecuadorian Mission before the United Nations in New York, with a salary of USD 5 thousand per month.

According to the leak, which so far has not been denied by the parties, Eva Golinger wrote to Alvarado on September 9 bitterly complaining for not being paid what, according to her, had been agreed.

Among the claims raised by her is the payment to one of her advisers, Romain Migus, whom she mobilized to Quito out of her own pocket. According to Golinger, three months are owed Migus, who charges USD 7,500 per month. Golinger also claims USD 20,000 for her fees for July and August and USD 8,500 for trips to London to coordinate issues related to Julian Assange’s asylum.

Alvarado’s response shows that he is not satisfied with Golinger’s work; nevertheless, he asks Pablo Yanez, his top aide at the Secretary of Communication, to pay what is owed. He also suggests that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs [of Ecuador] hire her. A later letter from Golinger to Yanez shows a detailed list of all work conducted since May 2014 by the avid Chavista and admirer of the Government of Rafael Correa.

This list reveals, among other things, certain matters that the Government of Ecuador wanted to promote abroad. Re-election [of the President and other authorities] was one which demanded great attention from Golinger. As the list shows, at least three items on the list are related to promoting re-election in Europe and the US.   “Investigation, development, preparation and presentation of a communicational and political strategy in relation to re-election in Ecuador” reads one of four items (out of a total of 17 listed) that talk about work related to promoting re-election abroad. It is clear from the leaked communications that, up until September when Golinger sent her letter, there was no reference to excluding President Correa from immediate re-election something that, only two months later, became part of a transitional provision in the [constitutional] amendments related to re-lection.

Another issue worth noting is the number of matters listed by Golinger focused on the Ecuadorian youth. It seems this is an issue that worries the Government of Ecuador. As an example, the list mentions the production of an audiovisual spot directed to young people about the historical rescue of Ecuadorian politics. Also, the design and execution of a web paged oriented to the young people “in order to bring them closer to the Revolucion Ciudadana”

The Assange matter was also amongst the most important tasks for Golinger. The documents reveal that a video shown during the enlace 378 of 22 July 2014 was produced by Golinger. Also, it states that the article that the Minister of Foreign Affairs Patino published in the British newspaper “The Guardian” on 17 August 2014 was written by her. “Preparation and publication of an opinion piece by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador in “The Guardian” newspaper in relation to the Government of Ecuador’s stance on the Julian Assange Case” is listed by Golinger in her letter.

It is clear that Golinger feels cheated by Alvarado. “I am sorry. I understood we were dealing with matters needed by SECOM both for the President and the Government. In fact, Vinicio (Alvarado, it is supposed) asked me to prepare contents for TV programs after the meeting we had with him in August. That was not our initiative but, in any case, we did what we were asked to. Similarly, the Assange matter was agreed on in our initial proposal that you accepted in May, as well as the re-election matter,” she tells him in the first part of her letter.

Golinger has been very controversial in Venezuala where she is being accused of enrichment by undertaking public relations jobs for the Chavista Government.  Also, she has a segment in RT where she generally defends governments such as the Ecuadorian and Venezuelan governments. Recently, she prepared a report entitled “A day with President Correa”.

A few days ago she denied on Twitter having any agreements with the Ecuadorian Government. Wikileaks Forum, a group close to Wikeleaks, founded by the same Assange whom she promoted, refuted her.

I think it is hilarious that the Assange cult has spent hours and hours trying to prove to the world that WLF is not close to WikiLeaks. Yet, because the world does not hang on every word that Assange says, like he thinks it does, the general public are not aware of the strife between the WLF and Assange. Assange himself keeps tweeting over and over, again and again, trying to tell the world that the forum is fake...  only to prove time and time again... no one cares, no one is listening to him.

The fact that he most certainly endorsed the forum from the start.... long ago when it first started, when he arrogantly thought that he controlled everything WikiLeaks. He endorsed it because he thought he could control it, that it would be a platform exclusively for his use, to promote himself and his agenda. But the forum found its own way , found its own voice, and rose above the very dark purpose it was founded on into the real idea behind its name.

I noticed she accused also others mentioning the contract with Ecuador Govt. as "inventing" and doing "defamation"... I don't think clear and flat leaked emails can be defined an invention: they are speaking themselves.
Eva is surely in denial at the moment.

Replying with the exactly same words used (copied from!) @wikileaks that told the forum is a "fake anti-wikileaks propaganda" site says many things:
- says nothing about the fact the Ecuador Leaks are true: indeed Ecuadorians don't give a damn who is the leaker: they want the info and they already know their govt USES propaganda;
- says everything about the fact WL and Correa's hard core fans are defending each other (who cares about democracy in Ecuador?... not themselves!) even using the same words! Congratulations for accusing the others of doing propaganda when you do Way much worst!

When I read these people, they all use the same words, belive the same things, support the same agenda, even support the same political side (atm Putinist, but variable according to Assange's mood...)... They look ALL IDENTICAL like clones O_O.
"The cyberwar of the Assange clones".

... They have killed creative thought, really.

Eva Golinger seems like nothing more than a fame/publicity seeker to me. Notice she places a lot of value on whether or not people are interested in this site.... it does not meet her publicity threshold. The fact that she is completely parroting what Assange told her shows that she can't think for herself as well. If Assange is her path to fame, she has already lost the fame game to start with.
