Thank you for this article, here in the UK we were lied too about the Iraq war. Weapons of Mass Distraction my foot. Tony Blair sent the troops in without parliamental approval and asked them to vote on the matter after the event, when our troops were already "in harms way". Any anti war voice was then easily labeled as unpatriotic. The front pages of the newspapers cried out for "our boys". There is a public inquiry by the parliament on the subject. It is a disgrace how none of the politicians in charge at the time have not been held to account for their actions. Tony Blair and his government made a huge mistake in foreign policy and it was a betrayal of peoples trust in them.
