Bradley Manning defers plea at arraignment

PFC Bradley Manning's arraignment was held today. Bradley Manning Support Network writer Nathan L. Fuller (@nathanlfuller) who was at the hearing, reports that the Bradley Manning chose to defer his plea and that the next step is tentatively scheduled for March 15th. PBS Frontline journalist Arun Rath (@arunrath) was also at the hearing, and adds that in regards to the plea, Bradley "can take up until the day of trial to decide".

The Bradley Manning Support Network is encouraging people to call their local government representatives (or embassy) to protest the charges against Bradley.
